Who picks up the sticks

Eskrima fits if...

  • You've watched eskrima and want to do it.
  • You trained Kali or Arnis once and want it back.
  • You train jiu jitsu here and want a second art.

Learn it in person

You can't learn it from a video.

You've seen it done, sticks moving faster than you can follow. But a video can't fix your hands.

Where Coach K started

Where it started for him

Eskrima came first. Kalani picked up the sticks at 8, then boxing and kajukenbo, then jiu jitsu, which he has trained for more than 20 years.

Eskrima questions

Before your first session

When are eskrima classes?

Eskrima runs by arrangement, not on a fixed slot. Call (209) 889-5800 or send the form, and Coach K sets a time with you.

Is eskrima the same as Kali or Arnis?

Yes. They're names for the same Filipino stick fighting art. Here it covers bladed, blunt and empty-hand work.

Can I do eskrima and jiu jitsu?

Yes. Coach K teaches both, and the jiu jitsu classes run on the weekly schedule.

How much does it cost?

Your first session is free, with no card needed. Membership prices aren't posted online. Coach K goes over the options with you after the free session, or call or text (209) 889-5800 to ask first.

First session free · No card
