Who rolls on Friday

Friday's class fits you if...

  • You train no-gi already and want a room to roll in on Friday.
  • You train in the gi here during the week and want the other half of the game.
  • You're new, and shorts and a rash guard sound better than a jacket.

End of the week

The week ends, and you haven't rolled once.

Work ran long all week. Friday is the one night that's yours, and without a class to show up to, it goes to the couch.

Your first Friday

How to get on the mat Friday

  1. Ask for your free class

Send the form or call (209) 889-5800. Coach K replies within one day.

  2. Show up at 6pm

Wear a rash guard or fitted t-shirt and shorts with no zippers or pockets.

  3. Tap, drill, then roll

You learn how to tap first. Beginners are paired with partners who go easy.

No-gi questions

Before Friday

I've only trained in the gi. Will I be lost?

The big change is the grips, because there's no jacket to grab. Coach K shows you what's different.

What do I wear?

A rash guard or fitted t-shirt and shorts with no zippers or pockets. Bring water.

Can I come if I've never trained?

Yes. You learn to tap first, and beginners are paired with partners who go easy while you learn.

How much is it?

Your first class is free, with no card needed. Membership prices aren't posted online. Coach K goes over the options with you after the free class, or call or text (209) 889-5800 to ask first.
